Schools, districts, and other tax-exempt organizations can contact McREL directly by email or phone call to place a tax-free purchase order or credit card order. To do so, please contact McREL at store@mcrel.org or call 800-858-6830.

If ordering books via our online store, please know that we collect tax during the sale based on your local sales tax rates and laws. If you are a tax-exempt organization, we can refund the tax portion to your card after your purchase. To receive the refund, please follow this procedure:

1.  Place and pay for your order. You will receive an email receipt.

2.  Forward a copy of your receipt along with a copy of your Tax-Exempt Certificate by email or fax to:

3.  Once your tax information is received and verified, a refund will be issued for the taxes.
