Once you place an order, our warehouse will need 1-2 days to process your order and prepare the items for shipment. This processing time applies to all orders and shipping options. When estimating a delivery date for your order, please account for the processing time in addition to the shipping time.

Schools, districts, and other tax-exempt organizations can contact McREL directly by email or phone call to place a tax-free purchase order or credit card order. To do so, please contact McREL at store@mcrel.org or call 800-858-6830.

If ordering books via our online store, please know that we collect tax during the sale based on your local sales tax rates and laws. If you are a tax-exempt organization, we can refund the tax portion to your card after your purchase. To receive the refund, please follow this procedure:

1.  Place and pay for your order. You will receive an email receipt.

2.  Forward a copy of your receipt along with a copy of your Tax-Exempt Certificate by email or fax to:

3.  Once your tax information is received and verified, a refund will be issued for the taxes.

We welcome purchase orders (POs) from schools, districts, and other organizations. You can submit POs by email to store@mcrel.org or by calling McREL at 800-858-6830.

All returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase of product.

Submit return requests via email to store@McREL.org. Please reference your original purchase order number or invoice number in your email.

Customer must provide a copy of the receipt/invoice, or a copy of the purchase order(s) with the returned product.

Returned books must be in resalable condition as determined by the publisher. Worn, damaged, or defaced items will not be accepted. McREL will not issue refunds for e-books, magazines, downloadable PDFs, nor digitally delivered products.

Credits will be applied to the original receipt or invoice that has been paid in full, after returned product has been received by the publisher fulfillment company. Restocking costs incurred by the publisher and the original shipping cost will not be credited on returned books, and will be adjusted against credit given.

A credit receipt will be sent to the customer, and will be generated when the return is processed.

Click on the "Login" link on the top right of the home page to get to the login screen. Type your credentials into the username and password fields and click the "Login" button to access your account. You may also log in here.

After logging in, click on My Account. Click on the edit tab (upper right, under My Account). Type your new password into the "password" and "confirm password" fields and save.  After logging in, you may also change your password here.

A charge will immediately appear on your bank statement under the name "Sheridan".

In accordance with applicable law, we collect tax in all states. Sales tax is applied to the total amount of the order and is based on the shipment's destination state and local sales tax rates. Applicable sales tax is charged for electronically delivered products where required by local law. These items are considered to be "shipped" to the address that your order was billed to.

Our eBooks can be read on several devices for your convenience. The ePub and Kindle eBook files can be read on a personal computer or handheld device, including iOS or Android devices. The Amazon Kindle can read the Kindle eBook format.
